AIGA LA: Design+Coffee Event

Design+Coffee was a single event that explored the cross section of design and coffee. Though in the traditional sense there were no designers on the panel, the panel consisted experts in crafting the best customer experience. Over the course of the evening the audience of 100+ had a chance to hear from world renowned baristas and coffee industry experts from Charles Babinski (2015 National Barista Champion, 2015 World Runner-Up), Mike Phillips (Director of Coffee Culture, Blue Bottle; hi is the winner of the 2008 and 2009 US Barista Championships, and was the first American to win World Barista Championship in 2010), to Julie Smith-Clementi ( co-founded of notNeutral, the company that created the iconic third-wave coffee mug). For the event, I procured venue, sponsorship, curated panel, arranged PR/Comms, arranged food, A/V, and MC'd the event.
