AKT - Born to Perform
Inspired by London's West End, AKT is an effective, life-changing natural deodorant that I had the pleasure of helping launch with design agency Two Times Elliott. Plastic free, aluminium free and bullshit free – AKT was born from a Kickstarter idea to become one of the coolest (and most natural) products on the market. Also it was just featured on ITV's This Morning, so it must be good. Go on, get your AKT together.
Inspired by the world of theatre all fragrances are scene descriptions.
SC.01 EXT. ORANGE GROVE Midday sun beats heavily on the grove. Sweet aromas burst from the freshly peeled orange. Neroli blossom dances, alive on the breeze. Another ice cold gin and tonic – it’s summer after all.
Key notes: Petitgrain, Mandarin, Neroli, Juniper berry.
SC.02 EXT. AFTER THUNDER
A walk through the woods after a thunderstorm. Damp cedar. Fresh leaves. Citrus rays of morning light slice through the canopy. Take a deep breath. Day begins again.
Key notes: Cedar, Eucalyptus, Bitter Orange, Rosemary
SC.03 EXT. THE ONSEN
Cold air rushes into the lungs. Body warm from bathing in the onsen. Mind clear and calm. Nothing but the sound of the mountains. Pure serenity.
Key notes: Vetiver Root, Lavandin, Citrus, Patchouli.
