All aboard! Bridgeman license images for Fred Olsen ship interiors
Bridgeman Studio artists Louisa Hereford and Lincoln Seligman have had their images licensed for the stunning interiors of Fred Olsen cruise ships - Project Managed by Georgina Angless
Norway-based shipping company Fred. Olsen & Co. was founded in 1848 and has a long legacy of delivering luxury cruises to lucky travellers. With her five-deck high atrium area and cascading decks at the stern, the Braemar is no exception and has space and intimacy in perfect balance.
Three bright, contemporary works by Bridgeman Studio Artist Louisa Hereford have been used for an art installation in the Braemar ship’s bar.
About Louisa Hereford
Louisa was born in London and spent her formative years living in the Far East where she developed a fascination for colour and fabrics. Her work is young, bold, contemporary and influenced by abstract art, Art Deco, Cubism and 1970’s interior design. Her work highlights her eye for fashion as is shown in her clean, strong and uncluttered designs utilising a rich colour palette. Louisa's simplistic graphic and clean approach mixes with playful patterns and textures.
In addition to the Fred Olsen cruise, Louisa's work has been used on limited edition ranges of deckchairs, cushions, mugs, tote bags and iPhone covers. Her designs are also used for a wide range of surfaces including homeware, textiles, fashion fabrics and printed-paper products.
Bridgeman Studio Artist Lincoln Seligman has also had his works licensed for Fred Olsen, for the cabins, stairway and public space of the ship Blackwatch.
About Lincoln Seligman
Lincoln Seligman is a British artist and member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. He is best known for his large-scale sculptures and murals displayed at modern landmark buildings worldwide. He has undertaken many substantial commissions and has regular exhibitions of paintings and sculptures, including a recent one man show of paintings at the Royal Academy, London.
