This campaign involved creating a piece of artwork focused on ending period poverty, where all likes and engagement from the piece equal the amount of period products that Always will donate to UK after school clubs and youth groups. People with periods in UK schools now receive free menstrual products, however out of term time and after school they are still going without. I was one of over 10 artists commissioned to create artwork for the instagram campaign. My piece focused on the depiction of young people taking part in an after school art club, creating a sign for a protest. I wanted the piece to represent unity and the coming together of groups of young people with a message.
