Amazon Fashion x Dazed Media

Tasked with strengthening Amazon’s credentials as a fashion retailer, Dazed Media devised a uniquely collaborative event: the Dazed Fashion Forum for young creatives.

The sold out event drew a crowd of more than 600 young, aspiring creatives and took place in Amazon’s new studios in Hoxton.
The day consisted of talks by industry icons including Susie Lau, Nicola Formichetti, and Gareth Pugh as well as intimate, hands-on workshops such as set design with Gary Card or portrait painting with Claire Barrow.
Co-founder of Dazed Rankin photographed more than 100 attendees in a studio on site. Everyone one them was able to share the picture on their social media or take home a print.
A party in the evening drew an additional crowd of 400 people to celebrate the successful day.
The unique nature of the event created a large number of tags and mentiones across social platforms utilising the hashtags #amazonfashion and #dazedfashionforum.
Promotion across the Dazed Group platforms as well as press coverage in newspapers and magazines – including WWD, The Evening Standard, Metro, and Time Out – generated more than 12m impressions and firmly aligned Amazon with a fashion-savy audience.
