Amber Foil
Like a tree nourishing different fruits but sustained by one trunk, Amber Foil endures more than a musical project. As an artistic playground, it holds different art forms navigating between conceptual music works, videos, vlogs, an unique illustrative visual world reflecting stories behind the music and other kinds of contents that are strolling the way up out of my imagination.
"An Invitation” is the debut work and it marks the beginning of the eclectic presence of Amber Foil. It’s the result of an organic meeting of a fantasy story, a concept, visual art and music. The music was produced by Manuel Cardoso, the founder of the emblematic progressive rock Portuguese band called Tantra, who played a crucial role on the music. Diogo Teixeira Abreu, from Lotus Fever, recorded the drums, João Pascoal, from Griot, recorded the bass guitar and Célia Ramos, contributed with her voice and magic.
Alongside with EP, I made a series of behind the scenes videos and a vlog where I documented my journey after the release of the EP.
