AARHUS: The Brief: Design a bespoke typeface based on an iconic piece of architecture or architect. Solution: A contemporary display typeface designed by focusing on the Isbjerget building in Aarhus, Denmark, also known as The Iceberg. Concentrating on the physical appearance and structure of the building, a visual toolkit was created consisting of simplified shapes identified in the Isbjerget. Each letter-form was crafted using each of these shapes, ensuring a consistent approach.
