Are you satisfied? is the debut album of the English punk rock SLAVES their disappointment with twenty-something complacent, grumpy Londoners and consumerism is set on harsh bluesy garage riffs background. This art installation is an interpretation of the album with a particular focus on track number 7 “Cheer up London”.
The liquid gold coating is a metaphorical representation of the importance of the appearances in our capitalist society.
A handmade, raw and cynical taxidermy installation that challenges the viewers and makes them reflect on their own consumerist habits.
