Ariss Nike Shoe Sole

2nd year project. This project was a no CAD project. Everything had to be hand cut or hand machined. As the process images below show, the bulk of the shoes was cut our of modelboard on a bandsaw and each layer of the tread was hand cut with a scalpel and individually glued together out of 2mm and 1mm styrene sheets. Personally I prefer to do things by hand, it feels a lot more personal than having a machine CNC everything. I really enjoyed this project. I got into a good routine that kept momentum till the end.
