Arriva UK Bus: Mental Health Awareness Week

  • Lucy Seal

I created a series of interviews for Mental Health Awareness Week. This involved interviewing team members from across the business and see how they have actioned Mental Health First Aid training within their different roles.

For Mental Health Awareness Week, I interviewed a cross-section of Mental Health First Aiders within the business. Mental Health First Aiders are colleagues who are trained in listening and supporting colleagues who need emotional support. They're not counsellors or therapists, but they are able to listen, support, and, if needed, help direct colleagues to get the help they need.
I worked with the HR team to establish colleagues within the business who had made a positive impact to the business through their first aiders training.

I interviewed the team members, edited the articles, created the digital asset and shared the articles both internally and externally on the Corporate Twitter channel and the brand LinkedIn account

I enjoyed interviewing team members from across the business and see how they have actioned Mental Health First Aid training within their different roles. It was also a great experience to work with the internal communications team.
