Arsenal FC logo reimagined

"Oooh to be a Gooner!" Looking at the current Arsenal logo I had mixed feelings. For starters am an Arsenal fan, so didn't want to completely put my foot in it. (but am bound to frustrate plenty with the concepts produced within this series - yay). Having meditated on the logo I felt myself asking the question why are there soooo many colours?!? + So first things first I reduced those. + I thought stating Arsenal was a little over kill and unnecessary so being an old school fan, took inspiration from the early kit wordmark, recreating the 'A' - with a subtle me twist. While I was there I thought to add balance to the shield I'd throw in the established date. (Their old... real old!) + Next I felt the cannon was too fine with not enough contrast, I found once small it lost all definition. So made lines thicker and increased spacing, also removing content from within the spokes. + The cannon was flat (horizontal), so to make it more dynamic increased the tilt, so its aiming up. + I liked the shield shape, but felt a rounded, softer shield would be more approachable. +Arsenal have won the PL three times - so added three stars... simples. I think that sums up my thoughts and edits. I like what I've created, it could be polished up as it was a little rushed. A mix of traditional and contemporary.
