Art on a Postcard x gowithYamo Mini Auction

  • Gemma Peppe

Art on a Postcard (AOAP) is delighted to announce the upcoming mini auction in collaboration with gowithYamo. gowithYamo’s Nathalie Brough has guest curated an auction of over twenty artists, including K Blick, Lee Johnson, Lisa Wright and Maayan Sophia Weisstub. Proceeds from this auction will go to The Hepatitis C Trust and their efforts to eliminate hepatitis C. Bidding starts at £50 per lot and is open from 15th-29th September.

Amongst the featured artists are Karen Turner, an award-winning Suffolk-based artist whose work focuses on the scrutiny around the physical body; London-born sculptor Wilfrid Wood, who made Spitting Image heads after graduating from St Martins; and Felicitas Aga, based between Germany and England, whose practice engages critically with genres of still life and portraiture. And we are delighted to welcome back Lisa Wright whose nature adorned figures have made a few appearances over the years.

We are pleased to include many emerging artists including Joshua Donkor, a Ghanian British portrait painter whose practice subverts the monolithic portrayals of Black identity; Gabrielle-Aimée Séguin, a current RCA MA student whose work has previously been shortlisted for the Chaiya Art Awards; and Matilda Sutton, a London-born artist whose practice oscillates between painting, sculpture and texture.
