Artist's way

  • Tales Sabará

“Artist’s Way” was written by Cameron in 1992 to help people with creative recovery and expose the powerful links between artistic creativity and spiritual connection. Structured as a series of weekly tasks and exercises, the book suggests its readers the techniques for gaining self-confidence in harnessing their creative talents and skills. More importantly, it activates the reader’s self-awareness and teaches to listen to herself, encouraging her to reconfigure her everyday life into a flow of creative practices and encounters. Inspired by Cameron’s methods, the artists Margo Trushina and Zoe Marden propose an experimental course that departs from “Artist’s Way” — to further embarks on the contemporary philosophies and individual drives of its participants.
