ARU Christmas Campaign 2017
This campaign was created by me - from the production and content creation to the implementation.
Overview
2017 is the year of Anglia Ruskin's 25th anniversary as an official university.
In brief, the campaign’s purpose is to link with our 25th anniversary celebrations and celebrate our diverse community.
The campaign will be a Twitter advent calendar of 25 days, using the 25th anniversary hashtag #ARU25 with a festive tweet each day until Christmas, but the content will also filter out to our other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram…
A feel-good video will make up part of this content which will be made available for everyone to use however they wish.
The video will feature the VC, staff, students, alumni and all friends of ARU.
The Christmas campaign will launch on 1 December finishing on 1 January 2018
1. Twitter: #ARU25 days of Christmas content
Purpose: Countdown to Christmas, raise brand awareness, encourage more engagement, showcase our varied and diverse content (eg. highlight academics’ festive articles) and to celebrate our 25th Christmas as a university.
2. Celebratory video of the ARU community
Purpose: Create a sense of belonging, bring together our community into one video, celebrate our diversity, spread our Christmas message as widespread as possible and showcase the local university cities, especially to raise the profile of Chelmsford as a place to study.
