I (with my then company Knot & Pop) event designed and produced an event for ASOS to celebrate their Occasionwear offer across both the Menswear and Womenswear collections. The event also saw the launch of the first standalone bridesmaid collection. From finding the perfect venue to lend itself to the house party feel, to producing the concept and bringing it to fruition with our trusted suppliers, this was a fashion party that wanted the fun factor throughout, bringing a sense of Modern Day Prom to the proceedings. Focussing on a Modern Day Prom, we devised and curated an event focussed on the ASOS Class of 2015. From the models at the entrance, welcoming guests as Prom King and Prom Queen, to the contemporary party decor throughout with exploding gold confetti cannons, confetti filled balloons and pinatas, the event put the sense of party at the fore, the perfect backdrop for the Occasionwear collections. Every last detail was considered, from the bespoke bow-tie paper napkins that were made for the canapes, through to the tombola for guests to Spin to Win a prize, the painted plants to give things more of an ASOS twist, the signature design nail station for the ladies and the Whisky Bar in the Mens Den. With guest interaction key, the event immersed guests in the sense of fun that the brand embodies.
