The importance and the possibilities of the audio layer tend to be neglected in visual communication. Using design as a research method, this project explored the relationship between audio and visuals. Here audio narrates a story on its own, challenging the conventional, orthodox, visual-based, storytelling in order to achieve a deeper understanding of what it is to listen. In this audiobook, audio drives the narration through the Cut-out and the Envelopment effects, and the reader is required to move through the pages accordingly.
