Award Winning MA Final Exhibition
Awarded a Distinction for my MA - I also went on to win two awards from SILA (Society of Illustrators Las Angeles).
A triptych of goddesses (Isis, Morrígan & Juno) from cultures around the world who are interconnected with birds through history and myth. Each goddess, within their own narrative/religion, is also part of a triad which is why having three represented in my work is very important. I have tried to emulate the powerful nature of each female deity by creating compelling and strong pieces. The work attempts not only act as a contemporary shrine but also to embody the spirit of what that deity represents - powerful, protective & imposing.
