Bahrain Landmarks

A series of evocative bank cards for one of the major players in the Middle East. Retainer client work for Kuwait Finance House in Bahrain. Showcasing famous landmarks in the region, this engaged with their retail customers and helped to raise the profile of the bank in a highly competitive local landscape. With banks moving to Visa's new quick read card designs in the coming years, this was the perfect opportunity to reframe the concept in a memorable and relevant way. As an Islamic bank, it was imperative that the creative respected the history and heritage of the past while also having an eye on the future. Balancing modernity and tradition, the designs communicated a prestige feel through the use of metallic inks, premium substrates and limited availability. Combined with crisp, clean typography and richly coloured photography, an impactful and commercially relevant solution was realised.
