Barbara Hepworth Inspired Screen Prints

After taking a trip to the Barbara Hepworth museum in St.Ives, Cornwall to see her work and studio I was inspired by the amazing organic shapes you find in her sculptures and the way that light and shapes shift and form through the various perspectives you can view her work from. I used these ideas to inform the silhouettes and colour layering in my subsequent screen prints.
