About me

I am a Graphic Designer/Artworker/Illustrator/Printmaker with over 3 years of experience in both print and digital design. By designing both in-house and freelance, I am able to work creatively to shape the style and direction of the many facets of a brand. I have experience with branding, social media design, catalogue design, digital and print advertisements, in-store graphics, image editing/retouching, email campaigns and website imagery. I am also an experienced Illustrator and create and sell my own original screen prints in my spare time.

  Wolf & Badger Packaging Design CompetitionI was lucky enough to be in the final 10 for a competition to design and illustrate new packaging for Wolf & Badger, taking inspiration from their ethos and aesthetic to create a soft yet vibrant design that reflects their basis in fashion, homeware, and sustainability.

  Barbara Hepworth Inspired Screen PrintsAfter taking a trip to the Barbara Hepworth museum in St.Ives, Cornwall to see her work and studio I was inspired by the amazing organic shapes you find in her sculptures and the way that light and shapes shift and form through the various perspectives you can view her work from. I used these ideas to inform the silhouettes and colour layering in my subsequent screen prints.

  Creative Email Marketing DesignBy working within brand guidelines and introducing new design ideas and layouts, I created a range of colourful animated and illustrated designs to drive customer engagement and sales for the greeting card company thortful.

  Original Screen PrintsDuring the turbulent freelance design market, I poured some of my time and energy into creating and selling my own original screen printed, that are hand-printed in my own home. I have chosen to sell them on Etsy and have sold over 160 to date. It has been a hugely enjoyable and rewarding experience which I hope to continue long after lockdown.
