Does anyone know how much to charge for artwork usage for a fashion brand?

I’ve just been offered the opportunity to sell some of my artwork (about 4 images) for one off usage for a large fashion brand for a T-shirt/sweatshirt collection. They’ve asked for a price per print. I’ve never done something this before and have no idea what to charge. Has anyone done something similar or have a rough idea of pricing? Thank you in advance!

  • The Association of Illustrators are quite useful at helping you with licensing/pricing ... and making sure you have a good contract in place
  • Depends who are the brand, whats their annual turnover. Could search on Companies House.

On the pricing, I got paid by NIKE £5000 for 1 design, you can ask royalties per item sold. Also depends on how many units sold, whats the cost of producing each shrit for sale.

Suggest price each artwork in a 4 figure range, then ask for royalties per item sold like 5% also put a contract in place if they plan to reuse the artwork in the future.
