BBC Doctor Who Book Cover

This brief was given by a past-student of my course and currently working at the BBC. It entailed designing three Doctor Who book covers for ages ranging 5-8, 19-24 and 35+. Exploration and development of digital art and illustration enabled me to achieve these final three results using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Each outcome is suitable in its own way for its intended audience through use of colour, typography and art style. As well as exploring newer subjects mentioned in the most recent series of the show, I wanted to make a call-back to older Doctors such as Tom Baker, and also delving into the history of the Ood which all required deeper research into the lore of the show.
