BBC One - Call The Midwife Series 13 Ep2

Opportunities are like buses; you wait ages for one – and then two come along at the same time! Before working on the Christmas episodes of #Hollyoaks, I had the fantastic opportunity to direct an episode for series 13 of the nation’s favourite drama, Call The Midwife. As the daughter of a Caribbean nurse who came to help build Britain in the sixties, directing this episode and working with a terrific cast and crew has been an incredible experience. This period drama led by the phenomenal female triumvirate - # Heidi Thomas (Creator and Writer), # Pippa Harris (Executive Producer) and # Annie Tricklebank (Executive Producer) always delivers beautiful stories through a 21st-century lens. I can't wait for you to see my episode this Sunday, January 14th, at 8 p.m. on BBC1.
