Biotiful Plan- Evolving a meal planning service to better fit with customer behaviours and attract new audiences.

Biotiful Plan (BP) is a plant based, batch cooking meal planning subscription service. Its design is anchored in a web based, weekly food preparation method, creating a rigid one size fits all product experience. Despite initial success, the business struggled to retain customers and attract a wider customer base. Challenge How could BP evolve its product experience to better align with customer needs and behaviours while making it easier for the business owner to manage? My Role UX team of one: I lead alone the design of the new service and product. I carried out all the UX work here presented and liaised directly with users, client and developer. The app will soon be designed in detail and implemented by other consultants. In this next stage, I’ll still be involved looking after the process as well as monitoring the user experience of the new platform when released. Full case study upon request.
