I do a bit of voluntary work sitting on the management council of a Birmingham-based networking group called the Birmingham Publicity Association.
The point of the BPA is to try and bring the many facets of the creative industries locally closer together while raising money for local good causes. It's something I've grown very passionate about. The perception of the creative industries is often quite cynical and it feels good to be a part of something that gives back.
The arrangement often throws up creative opportunities and I'm really pleased with the outcome here. Promoting a virtual horse racing evening at a local hostelry — with a Peaky Blinders theme.
By order of the BPA, Arthur.
