Celebrating London’s finest black-owned businesses, Black In Carnaby is a pop-up we created and in October 2020 to celebrate Black History Month. At 56B Carnaby Street, our aim was to showcase over 50 diverse black-owned businesses and provide a platform for them to showcase their brands in an exciting environment-themed #BlackInCarnaby. We wanted to highlight one of the key ways people can support the black community during, Black History Month that being buying black-owned. From the collection of outstanding creatives in fashion, beauty, art, literature, film and photography, we offered a space in the heart of London’s West End for them to showcase their talents.

Showcasing a wide range of creative black-owned businesses, over 100 business joined us in-store including fantastic takeovers and special guests, like Nubian Skin, VAMP & DLOW.

We will be continuing to support businesses in store and online.
