Blood & Banjos is at once a concept album, a rock opera, and an experiment. Through a bold mix of bluegrass and metal is told the tale of Abram Stone, a man maddened by Satan to embark on a violent and bloody rampage. Created by collaborator, fellow space enthusiast (and professional aerospace engineer) Michael Lindsay, the project was over two years in the making and involved contributions from over 25 artists and musicians across the United States and Europe.
As Media & Marketing Director, Joe helped devise and promote a successful Kickstarter campaign to secure funding for the final product, produced promotional videos, and has acted as outreach coordinator and promoter for the project.
The album was recorded across the country over multiple recording sessions in New York, Michigan and California. As a public service to its listeners, Blood & Banjos is available free to stream and download on Spotify and via the bandcamp page.
