Boardies Competition

This was a competition looking to asses my creativity, style and professionalism as a graphic/print designer, they were looking at my approach the brief, how I generate ideas and execute into commercially viable products. I had to design repeat pattern prints for Boardies swim shorts using a colour palette of my choice. There were 3 themes to choose from which were Ocean life, Tropical vibes, Geometric shapes. They were looking for at least 3 prints within my designs that tie together well. They were looking for prints that can be used either for Mens, Womens or Kidswear. They stated it would also be beneficial to see how my ideas could expand into other products such as graphic tees, shirts, accessories, as well as other branded content such as stickers.
