Book Cover Design - 1984

Penguin publishing needed a new book cover design for the George Orwell classic 1984. As well as reflecting the themes of the book, the client requested the design incorporate a handmade element. The cover design uses a handmade polygonal mask, monochrome colour palette, simple typography, and redacted copy to reflect the books themes of anonymity, dystopia, and control.
