Hello! I'm Antonio, a freelance Graphic Designer based in London. 🎨
My passion is communication. I've spent my whole career taking complex ideas, crafting them into understandable and easy-to-digest elements, and communicating them successfully. 📣
I have over a decade working in a whole host of communications roles; from public relations, and public affairs, to visual communications and design. 👨🏻💻
This gives me the understanding and insight into what businesses need from their communications, and how my creative thinking can deliver design solutions that will successfully connect your key messages to your target audiences. 🎯
Projects
- Brand Identity - Sarajevo TourismBosnia and Herzegovina tourism board needed a new brand and campaign design for their Capital City. The client required the design to not highlight past conflicts or any one of the City’s various faiths. The brand and campaign created targets well-seasoned travellers who visit less well known destinations, through use of an obscured logo and photography as a way to entice the target audience to discovery.
- Book Cover Design - Reinventing ResilienceAuthor Paul Thallner required a book cover design for his new work Reinventing Resilience, which looks at rethinking business challenges. He was keen on an illustrated solution that was not typical of other business books. The final cover shows a cropped illustration of the author’s resilience model, with the gradient alluding to the process’s flow. The design also aligns with requirements from the publishers, and copy for the reverse was added by the publishing company’s own design team.
- Brand Identity - TakedaPharmaceutical firm Takeda required an identity for four new key behaviours to encourage a new generation of leaders, and to root these “Leadership Behaviours” in its staff. The glyphs developed take inspiration from the organisations history, and represent each behaviour simply, and recognisably. They can be used individually or together as an identifier for the broader Leadership Behaviours project.
- Logo, Branding and Infographics Design - PfizerPharmaceutical firm Pfizer needed a logo and identity for a new team formed from three separate entities before, and which emphasised their new agility and effectiveness. The new dynamic identity clearly represents the three teams joining together, their new speed and agility, as well as a portfolio, giving them a strong identity when dealing with customers, health professionals and internal teams.
- Book Cover Design - 1984Penguin publishing needed a new book cover design for the George Orwell classic 1984. As well as reflecting the themes of the book, the client requested the design incorporate a handmade element. The cover design uses a handmade polygonal mask, monochrome colour palette, simple typography, and redacted copy to reflect the books themes of anonymity, dystopia, and control.
- Layout and Digital Design - West Side StoriesNew travel magazine from publishers TimeOut needed an article designed for their demographic of knowledgeable and intrepid travellers looking for a more authentic experience. The article design uses a simple typeface, two-tone image treatment, and an asymmetrical layout to convey an authentic handmade quality while the negative space allows the copy to breathe and be absorbed easily.
