Just 1% of children's books published in 2017 featured a BAME main character. Knights Of publishes commercial children's fiction who have made that stat into their company mission. They publish books for every kid making sure their books feature every kid. I worked with them on their 2019 Christmas campaign, #BooksThatMatter. I was in charge of strategy, copy, concept and content planning. On zero budget we released a video that had 100k views in 24hours, has been RT'd 359times and liked 593. The video was organically shared by influential accounts including the Guardian, Robert Webb, World Book Day and Malorie Blackman.
