The Boomerang Detective Squad is a programming stunt that collects all of Boomerang’s mystery and detective themed shows. The promotional campaign merges animated characters into a live-action setting, allowing viewers to connect to the stunt in a fun, fresh and relatable way.
The campaign is set in the world of 'Kid Detective', a young detective (aged 8-11 years). His world looks like it’s straight out of a 1940’s noir film. We join Kid Detective ‘on the case’ with some backup from a few well-known friends...
This stunt was distributed across EMEA so to help cater for all audiences, each element was created twice. Each features a different 'Kid Detective' and was left to the individual channel/territory to decide which ‘Kid Detective’ they wanted to be the face of the campaign.
