Borrowed is a sustainably sourced honey that ensures it's bees are well looked after. Making sure that they are able to replensih their stock to support the hive.
Using simple geometric forms, the logo takes inspiration from the bee, the hive and the honeycomb. The hexagonal shape of the jar itself also reflects the honeycomb and compliments the style of the logo. The overall symmetry aims to highlight the efficeint nature of the bee, and it's ability to organise.
The typeface used is Lucida Grande. It was chosen to create a balance between the minimal / symmetrical style of the logo. Inducing a sense of character that makes the brand more approachable, highlighting the friendly nature of the brand and its positive tone of voice.
