Whilst working at Battersea Arts Centre I had the great privilege to manage the marketing campaign for Kate Tempest’s Brand New Ancients tour.
The spoken-word performance toured to 13 venues across the UK. I coordinated print, social media, digital marketing, and email as well as supporting all 13 venues in their own marketing.
The tour sold out in all 13 venues as well as reaching a much wider audience with Brand New Ancients On Film - a series depicting the spoken-word story on film. This has had over 140k views on YouTube and was also used on the BBC 4 documentary Rhymes, Rock & Revolution – The Story of Performance Poetry.
