Brand Partnerships and Events // Hay Literary Festival

I initiated a partnership with the Hay Literary Festival to cross-promote The Books Issue of SUITCASE Magazine and their upcoming editions for 2019. I collaborated with the Hay marketing team to secure a short-form feature with Elizabeth Day, one of the writers performing at the festival, as well as an illustrated piece in which writers attending the festival explained the literary pilgrimages around the world that inspire them. The latter included contributions from Dustin Lance Black, Lucy Worsley and Isabella Hammad. Once the magazine launched, I also interviewed travel writer Monisha Rajesh on stage at the Welsh edition of Hay Festival in front of a 1,000-strong audience, while also introducing them to the magazine.
