British Cycling & Kalas Jersey Launch

British Cycling wanted a video to reveal their new jersey in collaboration with sportswear company Kalas. They requested shots of the riders on static bikes, with a continuous black background and little sections of the jersey revealed throughout the course of the video, followed by a full reveal at the end. It wasn't practical to get all the riders to a studio location to achieve the continuous black background, so instead I set up two black coloramas in a room at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester and moved the static bike around accordingly, while different riders came and went in their breaks in training. I only had about 30 mins with each but was happy with the end result. It was all shot on A7Sii and gimbal. Camera Operator & Editor - Callum O'Toole
