Bruni Glass is a high volume producer of glass containers. This was the 12th edition of the Progetto Millennio, a bi-annual glass design competition. The task is to propose new forms of jars for food packaging (314 ml).
All proposals should be suitable for production by high volume mechanical hollow glass technology.
Espresso, the ultimate Italian invention, gives the highest concentration of flavours and caffeine in a small cup. The form for this jar was achieved by manipulating and morphing round and angular shapes of an espresso cup and “Moka Express” - two essential parts of any cucina italiana. The idea of morphing forms was inspired by Italian Futurism.
