Building Anticipation for The Crown Season 5 Premiere on Netflix

THE OBJECTIVE
The ask was simple, to raise awareness of the upcoming season and entice a Gen-Z audience to consider watching the show on Netflix. The series aired in November 2022, following the unexpected passing of Queen Elizabeth II in on the 8th September, the longest reigning British Monarch.


THE APPROACH

The Crown has arrived in the ‘90s! We asked creators to make an ode to 90's royal fashion whilst chanelling their various inner-royal personas and alter-egos - showing us their unique interpretations of:

  • Country casuals
  • Evening gala
  • Off duty royal

Using slick transitions and innovative fashion and art formats, the content needed to provide viewers with feelings escapism to this iconic era, creating nostalgia whilst enticing them to watch the new season.
