Being overweight or obese as an adult increases the risk of 13 different types of cancer including breast, bowel and kidney cancer. However, only around one in seven people in the UK are aware of the link.
As part of the combined communications effort to support the new findings linking obesity and cancer, my team worked on supporting the social strand of this Health Marketing campaign across the UK, to increase public and mass awareness.
After the campaign went viral, my team worked together to respond to the mass amount of questions, concerns, and information across our social channels and aimed to inform our supporters as best we could.
