After attending a tree drawing workshop last year at the Whitworth Gallery, I was given the opportunity to take part in a project to curate and produce imagery for an exhibition, working alongside the Tree Charter, in association with the Woodland Trust and Lyrix Organix. I have been illustrating scenes from the parks around Manchester, focusing primarily on areas that showcase the contrast of trees in their natural surroundings with the urban environment in which they inhabit, and celebrating them in relation of how one compliments another.
