An author is a person who writes. Is someone who designs, who composes, who paints. An author is a creator. An author is the one positioned at the other end of the road, at the other side of the page. He can be visible or invisible, but he can never be there completely, or at all. Nor he can deliver the message. He works from afar, conscious that he is only the transmitter. Because there is no meaning in his creation until the information reaches the reader, the public.

Is there a limit between a “mere” person who writes and an author?
