Changemakers 2019 – 35 Under 35 by Contiki
I am responsible for leading and launching Contiki's annual 35 Under 35 award program, which is all about championing young changemakers everywhere – the people who are changing the game in the areas we care passionately about: People, Planet and Wildlife.
Starting with a nomination period, we called out to our audience to yell about the incredible humans in their lives who are literally changing the world. We believe every positive action counts. The person in their town who’s single-handedly removed plastic bags from the local supermarket. The best friend who is raising awareness around animal welfare. The business you follow on the ‘gram that’s giving something back. We wanted to hear all about the inspirational young people who are shaping our future.
Then, our expert judge Seth Maxwell – CEO & founder of Thirst Project – will help us decide on the final list of 35 changemakers. And that's before the real fun begins.
Whoever is announced as the winner, will not only become Contiki's Sustainability Ambassador and be given a platform on six-two to promote their cause but they'll also head out on a life-changing storytelling expedition with Contiki in an incredible travel destination.
