"Chão" is the result of a performative act and a performative act in itself. It is that which was left behind, what keeps being, marking, staining, changing. Traces of what once was and what is (be)coming.
For months I photographed grounds. Walking unknown streets with my camera once again dressed in macro lenses — Maybe to this time finally be able to see the porosity of things, the spaces that will allow me in? —, once again looking down, the floor I was before just stepping over started leaking signs, overflowing life. And I went down to it, leaned down to touch it with my eyes and taste it with my fingertips, using my very own microscope over it. I saw time and space. I saw life gone and coming. Each of them one in its own, all of them blended.
