Children's Clothing
Clothing company 'I Look So Cute' chose my designs as the runner-up for their competition brief. They wanted a series of two illustrations ready to print for their premier collection, in the theme of ‘Jungle’. I wanted the patterns I created to be transferable across a variety of clothing items and products. I'd personally love the giraffe pattern I created on some dungarees with the leaf shirt layered underneath.
Leopards are everywhere at the moment, so I wanted to use Giraffes since their pattern is also classical and recognisable, but are rarely seen across clothing in recent years. I also think they are more reflective of the market for children. The over crowed foliage pattern communicates jungle quickly while still maintaining a clean, minimalist style that appeals to parents, as well as children.
