Chocolate Packaging

  • Natasha Barnden
Reyna and Celi are vegans, feminists and all-round wonderful people. They founded Vida, a co-operative venture inspired by Divine chocolate’s success partnering with cocoa farmers in Ghana. Vida’s joint passions are a desire to create a vegan chocolate that beats its dairy rivals and a campaign to revive the dying cocoa industry in Mexico.

The design for their logo and packaging was inspired by the warm colours and joyous liveliness of Mexican folk art.

Vida’s packaging needed to be both high-end and eco-friendly. The solution was to create boxes so desirable that they became collectible rather than disposable.
