Clients: Po-Zu x Slave to Fashion Comedy Fundraiser with Sara Pascoe, Aisling Bea, Deborah Frances-White, Brett Goldstein, Steen Raskopoulos and Sophie Duker
With the drive and support of Sara Pascoe, I worked to pull together the most amazing comedy event for charity at London's Conway Hall - 19 January 2019
The power of laughter to challenge perception and tackle some of today’s most complex problems should never be underestimated. And underestimated it was not when Po-Zu and Slave to Fashion collectively put together an evening with some of comedy's finest minds to raise awareness and the need for better business practices in the fashion industry.
Held at the Conway Hall, the landmark of London's independent intellectual, political and cultural life. 400 attendees joined Po-Zu and Slave to fashion to talk about how we can turn this all around and raise the profile on the debate.
Thanks to Sara Pascoe, Aisling Bea, Deborah Frances-White, Brett Goldstein, Steen Raskopoulos and Sophie Duker, Po-Zu was able to raise a collective £3352.30 for The Environmental Justice Foundation and The Cup. Two charities fighting the negative impacts of the fashion industry's exploitation.
