A collage of memories is an exhibition based on revisiting memories during lockdown. I found myself looking at photographs of my home, the sea which I sincerely missed, my friends, moments of fun and creativity repeatedly. During this time, I spend a great deal of self-reflecting and thinking of all those things that made me happy. One of them is photography; I have never shown my photographs in a form of an exhibition before and I thought it would a fun challenge. From past projects to present, I realized some patterns during putting all the photographs together. My collection of photographs mostly represents the colors blue and red. The blue is from the sea I had been looking at for eighteen years and the red from the fires of all those traditions which I grew up with. The portraits of people relate to specific moments of my life which I have grown. The black and white translates to nostalgia of missing people. Each section is a collage of an idea.
