The 'artist cover bomb' series are one of a kind collectible editions of the 'Collector's Edition: Innovative Packaging and Graphics', visual culture book, authored by Stuart Tolley and published by Thames & Hudson.
The Collector's Edition Artist 'Cover Bomb' Series are the hand drawn, unique, special edition's of the Collector's Edition book.
In the spirit of Collector’s Edition: Innovative Packaging and Graphics author Stuart Tolley commissioned the artist ‘Cover Bomb’ series – 10 one off, hand drawn artworks, created by some of the world’s most famous artists, musicians and designers, that were painted directly onto the standard edition cover of the book. Contributing artists include Sir Paul McCartney, Nick Cave, Wayne Coyne, Stanley Donwood, Peter Gabriel, Alec Soth, Jessica Hische, Robert ‘3D’ Del Naja, Oliver Jeffers and The Designers Republic.
These unique, hand pained editions have now sold out and raised over £6000 for the mental health charity Malaria Consortium – each becoming highly collectible editions in their own right.
