Colman's 200th Anniversary

In 2014 Colman’s will celebrate their 200th birthday! Full of excitement at the conceptual brief to create a special pack for this iconic British brand, I researched Colman's and it's history thoroughly and what a wonderful history this brand has!

My reaction towards the age of the brand was a shocked one, and it seemed to have shocked everyone I told also. So I combined the reaction of the event with some traditional sayings.

I wanted to make sure my outcome dialled up the British heritage and include the core brand assets. I wanted to create a design that was relevant and of the moment yet at the same time retain everything that Colman's is best known for.

Did you know, in 1903 Colman’s brought Keen & Son, spawning the saying ‘as keen as mustard'!
