Color Research

Josef Albers in his book Interaction of Color explains the principles of complex colour theory.
By following these principles and by using the pictogram of a coffee cup, in this book are explored the possibilities, interactions and behaviour that colors have with each other. For example, it is shown how the same colour is perceived as two different tones just by putting it on a different background, or how a coloured element on a coloured background, once turned in greyscale, disappears. In the last part of the book there are some optical effects.
